I have my Toshiba 42PW23P Rear Projection TV for sale now as I picked up a nice Plasma this weekend.
Not quite sure how old the TV is as I picked it up second had a couple of years ago. It used to be used in a board room at some business, and as such does have some screen burn on it, which is a shame. It affects the left hand side of the screen mostly. I've tried to take some pics to demonstrate this and will get those posted up tomorrow and I'm back in the office.
Personally, the screen burn hasn't bothered me that much as you get used to it and it's only on certain types of programs that it's really obvious (stuff like Simpsons etc.)
When I got the TV there was a 1 inch crack in the screen on the bottom edge, I removed the screen and pushed the crack back into place and you will TOTALLY not notice it, it was only a crack and nothing major.
There is a small scuff in the silver material in the bottom left hand corner, and some scuffing to the back of the casing.
It all sounds terrible but I'm just being as honest as possible so you know exactly what the score is.
This comes complete with the remote and a PDF manual. There is a full compliment of connections on the rear and front of the unit including:
3 x Scart (1 of which is RGB)
1 x Component
1 x Svideo
So due to the screen burn and the small crack I'm only after offers of around £250 collected from Cheltenham, Glos. This is MASSIVE so you will probably need a van rather than a car to collect!
This is a cheap way to get a BIG TV in your house... we've totally enjoyed using it over the past 2 years.

Some of the pics have a scan line across them, this happens when you take a static shot of the set!

Being a projection TV, if its anything like my old Projection TV, the top half does come away with several screws. All the guts are in the base of the unit. The top half is a plastic screen with a mirror at the back.
Just posting as I would guess if the 2 halves do come apart you could probably get this in the back of an estate or hatch back. My toshiba did at the time.

I've had the front screen off no problem, haven't looked to see if the back bit comes off so maybe it does?! As you say, all the stuff is in the bottom of these...
