Smile MGF convertible Tahiti blue, VGC lots of upgrades for sale

SOLD - SOLD - SOLD

CAN NOW AFFORD MY NEW SCOOBY - HURRAH!

This car is advertised on e-bay, but since direct links are not allowed the item number is: 4618896052 at it finishes on Sunday March 12 at 20:15 pm

NOW ANOTHER £300 KNOCKED OFF AS I HAVE JUST PUT DOWN A DEPOSIT ON A NEW SCOOBY - EEEK!

VERY EXCITING BUT I NEED A QUICK SALE OF THIS ONE TO PAY FOR THE SCOOBY - AGGGHHHH!

My MGF is a 1998 R-reg (currently running on H* MGX private plate) included with the sale if you want it.

Has been HPI checked and is clear.

Full main MG dealer service history up to 40,000 miles / 4 years with four stamps in the book then over £1200 servicing and cam-belt/head gasket work carried out at 57,000 miles. Paperwork to support.

Regular maintenance, oil changes, air and oil filters etc carried out within last 4,000 miles.

Current mileage is 67,000 miles.

1.8i VVC engine- the best one there is.

Plenty of paperwork and service history (fills a whole folder), current MOT and tax till July 06.

Running on MG TF uprated alloy wheels (very good condition).

Uprated Kenwood CD stereo and speaker system.

Cat 1 Alarm and immobiliser (both keys sets present). Remote central locking

Full black leather interior and dash. Matching black door cards with leather inserts.

Uprated clear front and rear TF lights.

Matching black mesh windstop.

Heated wing mirrors.

Electric windows.

Front disks and pads replaced 500 miles ago.

Janspeed (of Salisbury) sport exhaust worth £400 (available seperately on first refusal and price negotiable basis) though never fitted - still in the shed as we never found time to fit it.

Matching Tahiti blue hardtop with heated rear window worth over £1000 (also available seperately and on first refusal basis, price negotiable) - bought brand new and sealed last year - used only since mid November.

And not forgetting of course that the MGF is both mid-engined (engine mounted behind the driver) and rear-wheel drive giving it a clear edge over many other convertibles sports cars.

Really good car that has never let me down and always starts/runs well.

Softtop rear window is suffering from the usual problems of a convertible - some cracking to screen present which happens in the cold - I have simply put clear tape over and that has been all I have needed to correct it - plus, most of the time the roof is down anyway.

SRS airbag light is now fixed. It had recently been coming on occasionally but after my partner did some research he traced it to a switch under the driver seat I didn't even know was there and had been knocking - oops!

Paintwork is actually in very good condition for the age and my partner has always spent plenty of time handwashing, leathering and polishing it for me - lucky me!

Leather seats are in good condition with some very minor wear to driver seat. Again, nothing you would not expect from a car of its age. The leather smells nice too - I am a non-smoker so no stinky cigarette smell.
If you have any questions or would like to do a viewing (which I would like you to), I am home most nights after 7:30pm during the week or any time on Saturday by arrangement. Just e-mail me via e-bay or leave me a PM.

Thanks! Liz
