MI16 engined 205 GTi for spares or repair!!
Peugeot 205 Gti Mi16. F reg in graphite grey.
Converted to Mi16 engine by Peugeot mechanic
Engine reconditioned before fitting.
Good interior
15” wheels in excellent condition with good tyres.
Unfortunately the car has been stolen and recovered, so it has a number of dents and the electrics have been hotwired. Bought as a rally car project, but no time to complete, hence bargain £500!!
The car will need to be trailered away from the Reading area.

which mi16 engine is it , 1.9 or 2.0 ?
If you know the year of the car it came out of that would identify it.

Its the 1.9 alloy block engine (the lighter one) with 160bhp.
Its originally from a Citroen BX, which has a separate engine bay wiring loom, so all the electrics have been done properly (as opposed to the 405 MI16 conversions where you need to make up a loom or splice the 405 and 205 looms).

Yes it does, that's the one i'm after.... Very interested, do you have any pics? I would come and look but i'm a good distance away.
Is the engine still ok ?
Does it start and drive, Any knocks?
Not fussed about the bodywork, as long as it drives ok, i'll come down for it.
