Very sad to see it go, but early retirement, change of lifestyle and imminent house move means it has to go. Now includes spares worth about £700 !! MAKE AN OFFER !!
Receipts for mods/labour (excluding the original purchase price)that I've kept total £40 000, -I've spent the money for goodies so you don't need to ! Folder with receipts available.
424BHP/378ft-lbs @ Power Engineering RR. Printout available.
Engine and transmission OVER ENGINEERED at its current power for longer life. Tansmission/engine capable of taking 500BHP+
ONE OWNER (non smoking/no pets) from when it was approx 6 months old demo (Days/Chelmsford), maintained regardless of expense - oil/filter changed every 2-3000 miles with Motul competition oil.
Spec: Std UK spec with CD player (!), 10 months MOT, taxed +
Cosworth Pistons/rings
Arrow rods and ARP2000 uprated bolts
CR 8.5:1
Baffled sump
GGR uprated oil pump.
Flywheel –billet 5.4kg
Clutch AP uprated organic

Was looking for only £9350 - thats less than £5K more than a standard 98 wagon for a MASSIVE spec and a car you just DON'T WANT TO STOP DRIVING ! Spares include Snooper Neo6R detector, spare rims tyres, oil cooler/sandwich plate etc, new plugs, Motul oil, etc etc.

Wish I'd seen something like this when I bought it for £19K as a standard ex-demo. Could have saved myself £50K !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jeez if it is i cant beleive it.
All I can say is that people dont want to spend that ammount on a classic wagon. The MaxPowers just arent interested, even though the spec is awesome.
These mods in a 99 type R (ok i know some may not fit )an it would have been snapped up, stupid really but there ya go, feckin unbelievable.
