Api calipers are used ones - true, but they have always been stripped cleaned and have a new seal kit fitted.

As a commercial company the connotations of selling something as important as your brakes without thoroughly checking them out would frighten our insurers to death.

We don't do ' sorry mate; private sale ' when things don't work.........

Dont get me wrong i wasnt dissing what you sell and being a company i know you check what you sell first so dont get combacks. i was using it as an example.

John, No harm done at all, I was just clarifying, so that S/netters had the right idea.

This is a bit of a **** take if you ask me..!

FFS, the guy has paid you money for an item he has no idea you've even sent. For all he knows (and the rest of SN for that matter) you could be pulling his ****. If he's paid extra for 'Special delivery' show him the proof of postage (or at least give him the tracking number). Until you do that and prove you have actually sent this item then the onus is on you I'm afraid..!

Until then, I wouldn't bank on selling anything else on this (or any other scoob) board..!

looked at this thread because i am after some 4 pots, but given your responses to Al. I am kinda put off from purchasing from you.

Will keep my eyes on this thread to see how it's resolved, before making an offer.

It was a toss up between these and brembo's on ebay.....guess who got my coin, the guy has 100% feedback.....safe.

The sooner you can clear this up feller the more chance you have of shifting the brakes. A lot of people are looking at this thread and have proberbly made there minds up with knowing the whole story.

Maybe it's nothing to do with me just thought i would give my opinion.

I was also interested in the 4 Pots.

I PMd him & asked for photos, I also asked what the problem was with delivering the intercooler. Here's the reply:

no pics at min as they are at work.

i sent him an intercooler, well my girlfriend sent it, we had a row and she wont give me the proof of postage to show its sent. hense track whats happened to it and claim money back etc.

john
I PMd back & asked him to send pics after the weekend.

No PM with brake pics yet received - somehow, no surprise!

If he's has a row with his gf then that's his problem, in the mean time there's a guy £££ out of pocket..!

FFS how can people act like this and still expect to sell more stuff on here..!

One way or another the IC has not got to the buyer and the seller has the only means of claiming any compensation. So HELLO, refund him the money FFS then as it's you who's out of pocket you might get your **** in gear with regards to Royal Mail..!!!!!!

**** ME, am I missing something..!

BTW 'ally-b' what did you pay the guy..?

I posted at 8.15, Jasonius posted at 10.49 - your intercooler buyer did not post till 11.45! Check YOUR facts before writing stuff bozo!

If taking pics of YOUR sale items is not a priority - do not bloody advertise them until it is. We are all busy pal!
