2000 V registered Subaru Impreza Turbo 2000 5dr (classic shape)
Overview
It is with much regret that I am selling my beloved UK 2000 V registered Subaru Impreza Turbo 2000 5dr (classic shape) - thanks for taking the time to have a look. I thought I would give a brief oveview of the car by writing a couple of paragraphs and then list all of the service history further down... so here goes!!
As the photographs below clearly show, this car is in immaculate condition. It has been valeted weekly using a combination of autoglym and meguiars products and is completely original - no modifications whatsoever. The car is of course completely HPi clear.
Since I have had the car, only Shell Optimax has been used and the car has always been warmed up over several miles before using any of the available performance. Similarly, before tucking it in at night, the car is always left to idle as per manufacturers recommendations.
The car is finished in stunning dark blue mica pearlescent paint with matching blue sports interior. Please have a look at the photographs below, although I should mention that I've only been able to post a few of them in this advert - but have taken lots more - so if you are geniunely interested then send me an email and I can let you see more.
In terms of the car's history, there's not only a complete subaru leather bound handbook pack with a fully stamped service record, but in addition I have a large A4 ring binder which includes every single service invoice since the car was 'born'. I also have every MOT since the car has needed one (the current MOT doesn't expire until End November 06). Also included are a variety of miscellaneous bills for items such as new tyres etc... but as I'm sure you've gathered - a very complete subaru history. The car had a cambelt change at 40,449 miles on 15/12/2005 at Subaru Main Agents.
My reason for selling (very begrudgingly!) is that I have unexpectedly been given a company car and so cannot justify keeping the impreza. My new car has now arrived and so the Subaru is now garaged awaiting its new owner to take it to its new home!

So as I said - a pretty thorough history!
The car has an upgraded TOAD Thatcham Category 1 alarm/immobiliser system with Insurance Approved Fitment Certificate. The car also has a Thatcham Category 2 immobiliser built into the key as is standard equipment from subaru.
Please note - the car is a 2000 Model Year vehicle and as such is the facelift version. It is important that it is not confused with the older 1999MY. This means that this car has the new style front bumper and clear headlights, along with the newer interior design which includes height adjustable drivers seat. Aside from the aesthetic/ergonomic improvements over the 99MY car, subaru gave 2000MY vehicles a more powerful 215 bhp engine and brakes with 4-pot calipers.
The car is blemish free - no chips, scratches etc... a very straight car with total history. I welcome any inspection of the vehicle by RAC/AA or similar and please feel free to ask any extra questions via email or if you would like to arrange a viewing that won't be a problem either.
Understandably, (I'm sure you'll agree), I will only offer test drives to people who I feel are genuinely interested in the car and who have insurance cover plus a valid UK driving licence.
