Wanna sell the H&R springs to me, are they quoted to be a 50mm drop???
You got any pic's of the car... not for me, just think you might sell it easier with pic's?

Have you investigated the problem?
Difficult to diagnose but sounds like its the ECU gone into limp mode for some reason...

Hi mate wondering has the speedo stopped working and have you got an illuminated cel at all ?
The speedo would cause this problem (cut boost) limit at 4500rpm
Jason.

I would get it looked at by a local specialist, there may be nothing much wrong with it other than a defective sensor. It could be ****ed but worth finding out!
Do you have a CEL light on the dash lit up?

New engine fitted?! How do you know its that??
You need to know the fault code!!! It could be something like a boost solenoid or something?!
Doubt its the lambda as that is not used when on boost.

I have seen pictures of this Scooby and it looks nice, but there is a big doubt about the engine, it appears not to be an STI engine, it has possibly been swapped for a WRX or even a UK engine. Having said that there is no reason why this should require an engine swap ( if set up correctly ) for the fault described.
I would advise the vehicle is taken to someone like API or Paul at Zen to find the fault rather than just stick a new engine in and hope it cures the fault.

engine getting changed for v6 vlimited everything getting changed aec turbo the works ,has uk 97 engine and ecu turbo etc fitted at present, was running fine at first with this set up but no missfiring not much point in fixing this as would rather have right engine set up so this should be alright even though its costing more !!getting everything fo 2500 is this good price fitted

£2500 all in? Including your paint job? Or is that for the engine and turbo etc?

If you are just fixing it to sell I would look very closely at the economics of this. Say you feel it is worth 5k now, I don't think you will be able to sell it for 8.5k once you get it painted and have the engine fitted etc.
Have you had the problem with the uk engine investigated? 2nd opinion? Could be a number of problems (turbo not engine?) that could be fixed a lot cheaper than £2500.
A spray job is rarely economically viable for the sale of a car unless you know someone in the trade who'll do a great deal.
Has the paint broken on the dent? If not it could easily be pulled out to close to perfect condition I believe.
The one off paint job will only appeal to a small number of potential buyers, limiting your selling market.
