The engine has gone on beloved Impreza, so while I try to figure out what to do I thought I'd see if anyone was interested or wanted to make an offer.

It is a 1997 R-plate UK Turbo 5-dr, in red, 108k, and is making some horrible noises. It is absolutely immaculate inside and out, FSH and always maintained regardless of expense. It has Mot until Feb '07 and Tax Mar '07, Tracker Monitor (with almost a full year to run) and a nearly new set of Goodyear Eagle F1s all round (including a pair of literally brand new rears - still have the £194 bill in my wallet). Prior to the problem it has never let me down and always run perfectly. It is totally standard UK spec except for a Magnex backbox, CD player and Infinity front speakers.

I don't know what the problem is with the engine, but I don't want to drive it as it will probably go bang and then be even harder to fix. It is currently located in Norfolk.
