Tek2 ECU (EcuTek) For MY99/MY00 Impreza Turbo
NOW SOLD !!! 
After the sale of my MY00 I have a TEK2 ECU up for grabs.
I know most of you will know all about it, but here is some further Information:
The TEK2 is the “Off The Shelf” upgrade for the standard ECU from ECUTEK.
It's suitable for all Model Year 1999/2000 Impreza Turbo 2000’s - UK or Euro Import - with either an AE800, AE801 or AE802 ECU. (Not Jap STI’s, etc)
It is a very ‘safe’ map and provides a similar Power/Torque increase to that of the PPP.
Its designed to run with any spec from a Standard car to a De-catted exhausted one and/or Air Filter upgrade, so you should be looking at from about 235 to 260 BHP depending on your mods. (from 215 standard).
I ran it safely and without any problems for 3 years on a MY00 with just a Prodrive Backbox. I didn’t rolling road it but the gains in Torque and Driveability were Very, Very, Significant !!
Because Ecutek have basically taken the Standard Subaru ECU and just reprogrammed the software to provide gains in Power, there is no problem getting your car Diagnosed or Serviced at a Main Dealer. It is the same as a standard unit.
The TEK2 is the one that IS portable between cars – (The TEK3 is similar, it’s the same software but custom mapped by a specialist tuner actually hooked up to a car and is specific to that particular car and its mods.)
It’s a 5 minute plug and play job to fit it. Undo a couple of screws under the carpet in the passenger footwell, Unplug the standard unit, Plug in the TEK2, and away you Go (Only Quicker
!!!)
£SOLD to buy outright (Some people require your old one in exchange but I wont be needing it, so you get to keep it)
