White 2005 MY05 STi Type UK
I'm selling my 2005 05 reg MY05 Impreza STi Type UK in pure white. The car has one previous owner, genuine UK dealer supplied, 8300 miles on the clock and has the usual Type UK options like DCCD etc.. It's taxed till February 2007, standard except for anthracite wheels, HPi clear with no damage or dinks - because it's white I can't even see any stone chips. It comes with a full Subaru service history (just had its 12mth/10,000 mile one) and also 22 months free Subaru servicing so there's nearly two years of very cheap motoring - in Subaru and Mitsubishi terms - for someone.
I looked for a white UK MY05 STi for over twelve months and have seen only two for sale in all that time, they were a special order and are ultra rare. I managed to find this car two weeks back and I love the looks but my last car was a Mitsubishi Lancer MR FQ340 and the performance of the standard STi obviously isn't at the same level. I didn't think it would bother me that much but it does and because the car still has 22 months warranty - which I don't want to lose - the only option is to fit PPP and I've decided that I don't want to go that route and still be 35hp down on the Lancer.
As I say, the car is ultra rare, looks a million dollars in white and is in immaculate condition. Priced at £17500 for a quick sale, I'm not looking for a p/x or offers. PM me or call 07940 999558 if you have any questions, I'll post some photos when it stops raining and brightens up a bit. Car is based in Lancashire.

I searched and searched for a white MY05 Type UK STi and this was only the second that I'd seen for sale in over twelve months. I've seen a few white WRX's but not STi's, it'd be interesting to know just how many were sold. Like I say, the car ticks all the boxes for me except performance and that's only because I've come from a MR FQ340 with a remap and induction kit (380HP) so the thing didn't really stand a chance.

Why not add an exhaust, remap and induction to your car as it is now? Seems a shame to have such a gorgeous car that you have to sell for the sake of a warranty. Surely the evo was in the same boat, ie: mods ruined the warrenty?
I'm not coming up this time to view your car though

I bought the Evo with I think 384HP but had it put back to standard by WRC so it ended with 340HP. In saying that, the Evo warranty wasn't worth squat, CCC are a poor outfit IMHO, there's always a reason why something isn't covered by warranty. People tell me that Subaru are very good with warranties so having no warranty is great until you need a box or engine build and then it's kick yourself time. If the car doesn't sell, I'll go that route or even leave it standard and get used to it. I'm being overly critical because the Impreza goes well even standard, I think the thing I actually miss the most about the Evo is the ride, it was a lot softer than the Impreza, this car feels as heavily sprung as my TSL333 with the Prodrive springs.
