Default PSP 1.5

Seriously considering flogging my PSP, its a 1.5 version which means you can play homebrew games on it and back up games from a memory card. Its hardly been used TBH, very good nick. Has a crystal type cover over the screen to protect it, headphones, box, manuals, charger, case 1GB Memory card etc...

Not sure what to ask for it so if interested drop me a PM to discuss....

Up....A few people have asked whats so special about this :

The PSP with firmware version 1.5 allows you to play *cough* back up games. If you cant be bothered to copy your original games then you can always download them (as long as you have the original game mind )

This is the main reason they are in high demand and worth more than a normal PSP. There are also thousands of "homebrew" games written by people on the net that you can downlaod completely free. Despite them being free alot of them are very good.

So grab yourself a decent gaming machine before she goes up on ebay.

firmware version 1.5 allows you to copy games on to your sd card and play from there, hence no need to purchase anymore...though you can now downgrade later firmwares to version 1.5 aswell..

Not so AFAIK, 2.01 you can, anything after that and you cant. Not according to PSP hacks. Apparently there is some sort of modchip coming out later on down the line that will allow you to play the new games though.
