Default Ford Escort Cabriolet MK6

hello

here I have my escort cab which was bought with the best intentions to use as an everyday car and for my partner louise to learn in. the thing is with it not having a boot the dog can sit in, its a PITA to use for everyday things and as such I am reluctantly selling it.

I will try to let you know all you would need to know, but if you have any questions please just ask I will be happy to help.

ok

its a 1.6I 16v 1995 M registered, its done 114000 miles with nearly full history.

its just had a full service with a new cam belt, the engine runs really well but the belt is rubbing on the plastic shroud so you can hear it occasionally.

the car drives great and it pulls really well in all the gears, however the clutch feels like it might be ready to change soon (next 2000 to 3000 miles ish) no knocking noises or bangs.

it has alloy wheels which look ok no nasty dints or scrapes they look straight enough, all the tyres are legal and look ok.
(cant get excited about these things ) lol

interior is the standard pattern, the drivers seat bolster is damaged with a hole in the fabric no other damage I can see. there is also a tonneau cover in the same pattern, the dash looks standard apart from white dials fitted, the car has single air bag on the drivers wheel, it has a sony head unit with a 12 cd changer .

The roof is brand new, however when its been fitted by the previous owner he hasnt managed to glue the rubber pads on that sit against the rear window very well, so they need to be re done, or I will try and do it if I can find the right glue.

the body as far as I can tell is rust free, theres a couple of scratches here and there but nothing serious, I have waxed it a couple of times and it comes up nice, the front bumper has a crack which has been repaired (not very well but it looks ok) the rear bumper also has scratches but nothing serious.

it has mot until april next year 2007, and tax until september this year.

all in all its a really nice litte car thats really good on fuel very cheap to insure and looks nice, and even better its perfect for this bloody hot summer were having.

I am looking for £1000 ovno may px/swap with something with a boot thats still suitable for a learner.

this is the only picture I have at the minute but I will take some more in the next hour or so and get them on.
