Default HKS Hyper D Coilovers for Classic

They were on my car when i bought it

Excellent for round Knockhill but a bit too firm for my liking on Scottish roads

The units have adjustable top mounts, adjustable ride height and adjustable damping. One of the ***** for adjusting the damping is missing but can be adjusted with a pair of long nosed pliers. No signs of leaking from any of the struts although all 4 of the struts have lost some of its chrome from the internal part of the strut

Been off the car for a week

£200 plus p and p

If using them for road use are far too hard and have heard of people saying they are actually dangerous for road use as no give.

I used them on the road for the last 8 months, previous owner about 6 months and i would not class them as dangerous.

These stuts are the HKS HyperD not the Hypermax range

The Hypermax and Hypermax2, now they are fiercely sprung and more for the track but with the damping set in the midrange front and rear then i found them very suitable, firm yes but not dangerous IMHO. The springs can be redone to more compliant rate for about £40 each

The quality of the tarmac around my way aint the best and the reason i have fitted a set of Bilstiens.

Ben has pulled out due to change of plans so still for sale and £200 is a decent price
