It will be out of the car this weekend. i have used this box to keep me on the road intill i could finish building my new gearbox up. from what i can remember the box has done about 59k, but it is in good working order. i am hoping to see offers at about £275

What final drive is this please? 4:444?
Can you confirm the box is from a V4/V5 MY99 car?
Do you have the rear diff at all?

box number tallies with V5 sti type-R and type RA G.
definately a V5 or V6 box then, my own v5 box has the 4.444 diffs.

no mention of DCCD though

The ratios are similar to a MY95/6 RA but with a longer 5th

if its matching my95 then might suggest its 3.9 diffs

Exactly!

this box would make a good replacement to the Sti box or a good donor for a ppg but it would need to have the 4:444 diff to match my rear diff.

I think with the shorter ratios G that 4.444 might make it a little too close?
with the 3.9 diffs in place it will give the short ratios a little more legs??
