It is a shame and I'm sure it puts people off but c'est la vie. I enjoy driving it too much to keep the miles down!
It's still got the full BMW warranty and a couple of weeks ago they did a weeping main seal where it goes into the diff. They had the car for a fortnight because I was away and I have a very nice service advisor so when they stripped it down to change the seal they looked it all over and couldn't find anything else wrong to do under the warranty.
It's fit as a fiddle and the worst possible case is I have to do another 100k in it
