Default APS SR40 Turbo for 01-02 WRX and STI

APS SR40 turbo to fit 01-onwards 2L and 2.2L WRx and Sti (probably other models also). These turbos cost over £1250-1350 new!

Rated by APS to 440 hp, these turbos work well with standard or modified 2L or 2.2L's!! When it was setup on my UK 2L Wrx with standard internals I had 1.2-1.4 bar, approx 350 bhp with lots of other mods including complete exhaust system, induction, larger intercooler, etc).

Please see APS's spec about the turbo...http://www.airpowersystems.com.au/products_int.html

This turbo fits 01 and 02 UK wrx's for sure and probably many other models but please dont ask me to confirm as I'm no expert on classics etc - suggest contact APS directly, scoobynet or local dealer for advice!

Turbo has done approx 10,000 miles (nothing really, perfect condition) and has had 4,000/5,000 miles fully synth oil changes. Only decided to change turbo once I had a new 2.5L engine fitted with uprated internals - although at the time, it looked like the SR40 would produce around 400 bhp and 440 ft/lb of torque on my 2.5! - as with all things though, I wanted the maximum the engine can produce with the internals/setup so changed for even bigger item.

Pictures available on request - just confirm your email address in message.

Sale price £600 + £35 delivery!!

Requires oil feed pipe as original used on my new turbo - shouldn't be a problem to source from APS or cheaper still, an after market performance centre.

By APS m8...

Mine was good for almost 400 on 2.5L with 440 ft/lb torque and excellent spool, but that's with lots of other mods.

380 on a 2L or 2.2L is a fast car in anyone's book!

This turbo is a good stepping stone to monster horse power. Def worth a look for anyone that hasn't yet gone down the very expensive route of uprated internals , new gearbox etc.

Better than VF's in my view too.
