Default water/alcohol/meth injection kit

I have for sale a complete SMC progressive alcohol injection kit. The kit includes the progressive controller, 16ft of braided hose, pump, wiring, instructions, #7 nozzel w/ 1 way check valve, pressure gauge, and a STI Spec C 12 liter tank that has been modified by SMC. Everything needed is included!

I have run this set up on my Scooby for about 3 months. It was pulled before I sold the car.

Here is what SMC says about it:

"Also new is the Progressive Controller... This microprocessor based unit will automatically increase spray pressure as boost rises, and allows you to set the boost level at when spray begins , and when spray is at max.. A bonus with this controller is the smaller size - it measures only 2.75" wide x .9" high x 4.6" deep. If you have changed out your factory radio it will fit perfectly in a pocket underneath your new radio, which makes for a very nice look.

Also included is the custom spray nozzle. It mounts in the outlet of the intercooler from underneath and is totally hidden, and sprays directly into the throttle body.

Expect up to 18 psi on a Stage 2 car. Stage 3 or 4 cars have been known to run as high as 24 psi on 93 octane with alcohol injection. An EGT meter, wideband O2, and/or a scan tool are highly recommended at these higher boost levels!"

What is Water/Methanol Injection?

Water Injection or Water Methanol Injection, is a process by which a mixture or water and Methanol are injected into the fuel/air mixture on the way to the combustion chamber. Water/Methanol Injection provides "Chemical Intercooling" inside the cylinder. By injecting water and methanol in a finely atomized spray, the water is able to evaporate under the high temps of a firing cylinder, and when the water evaporates, it takes heat with it. The methanol also has a cooling and octane boosting effect as it burns.

How does water/methanol injection allow your engine to produce more power?

The production of more power by a water/meth injected engine is not a by-product of the water/meth mixture alone. You must tune for it to get the most out of it. The evaporative effects of the water/meth mixture, plus the octane boost, allows you to run more advanced timing, and boost, thus increasing power. Methanol having the octane boosting effect, you can adjust your AFR's with tuning, and be able to run leaner AFR's than you would with just pump gas alone, with less risk of detonation, and also make more power.

Pick yourself up a bargain £400

(plastic washer tank and smaller tank not included since the kit uses the Spec C tank)

"Spray On" Lite (pressure based)

"Armed" Lite

Braided Steel Pressure Line

Water/Alcohol/Meth Compatible 110 PSI Pump

I'm running 312bhp/300lbs in MY02 WRX at the mo, what kind of power gains can be expected from adding this system?

Nothing without being tuned for it. Once mapped correctly, 20-30 wheel hp easy.
