Default RallyDay - Castlecombe Track sessions x 2

Due to my car playing up, I'm not gonna chance it........

Which means I have 2 sessions avaliable. From memory (I was rushing out the door to work this morning)

session 1 is approx 11 am

&

Session 2 is approx 15:30

I pressume that these are transferable...........

Original price = £25 per session

I'm looking at recouping as much as possible.....

Only on the 22nd July

I'm just reading throught the paperwork and the sessions are as follows

1. Track session 13 @ 11.20

2. Track session 23 @ 15.20

There is also a 'wristband' that needs to be worn at all times...... and I only have one.....

So it may be wise for someone to have the both.... or if someone already has track time ... then they would already have a band...

Phil

recieved this earlier as i question why i had not received a ticket........
================================================== ===
Hi Phillip

This year we are using wristbands instead of tickets. Please ensure that you wear it throughout the day.

Thank you and kind regards

Jo Stubbings

================================================== ===========

If you are not allowed to use the track sessions as they were registered to me or my car I will not expect any money off the person that strikes the deal.......

(If you fail to qualify due to sound testing or your car is not healthy, then I cannot accept responsiblity........ )

I think this is fair

not at all.............the answer is only simple if you know it..........

a 'session' is an allocation of time on the track...........there is a schedule and it is VERY strict....

You are given a time....and that is when you are allowed to go on the track.............

easch session lasts approx 15 mins....... and you should be able to get about 10 laps in..........

about 15-20 cars are out on the track at any one time..... generally they try to allow cars from the same club out at the same time (this is ALL pre arranged - hence the times listed in my earlier post)

you MUST attend a briefing before hand and show a drivers license..... this is what happened when I done it at Japfest..... (so bring it with you.....) they won't let you on wothout it..... ALso a helmet MUST be worn....... AND arms and legs MUST be covered....i.e. NOT t shirt and shorts.......

Long sleeves and long trousers MUSt be worn on track

Phew........ sorry for any spelling mistakes....... had a glass or 2

Righto Im with you

What threw me was the part of the title that mentioned RallyDay.. wasnt sure if it was one of those red letter day type affairs.

Would there be an option to book in any extra sessions?

I dont reckon two would be enough for me... (really need an open pit day I suppose) but the price seems pretty reasonable

I don't believe you can get any extra sessionsvfrom Combe themselves as the closing date was the end of June.............

It's a 'drive what you brung' day.................

check out http://www.rallyday.com/ for more info
