Default Honda Integra Type R - DC5 (Moddified)

Well the time has come to move on, I have a new contract for 6 months which involves lots of driving and weekend work, therefore DC5 will not get any use and no time for track days.

CAR:

2001 Championship White
21k Miles
Starter Button
Chrome Air Intakes
Alloy Pedals
Tinted Rear Quarter Windows
RED TYPE R Matts
Electric Windows and Mirrors
Central Locking via Cobra CAT 1 Alarm Key Fob
2 Keys
All Japanese Paperwork and Manuals
Purchased from Langtree Garage in December 2004 for £17.5k
Auction Grade 4.5
11 Months TAX
6 Months MOT
Always run on Optimax!

SERVICE HISTORY:

Honda Avonvale - 13/12/04 - 6752 Miles
Honda Avonvale - 09/07/05 - 12481 miles
System-R - 27/01/06 - 15111 Miles
Honda Avonvale - 03/06/06 - 20382 Miles

CONDITION:

1 Very small scratch on front bumper (someone let a shopping trolley go)
2 Small scuffs on front Wheels
Apart from that this car is mint for a 2001 car, could easily pass for much newer.

MODIFICATIONS:

"All Modifications were carried out by System-R less than 6 months ago:

Toda A2 Cams and Valve Springs
Toda Manifold
Toda Exhaust
Hondata K-Pro
Hondata Heatshield Gasket
GruppeM Induction Kit
Spoon Baffled Sump
ES Engine Mounts
Tein 24 point HA Coilovers
Camber Adjusters (Rear)
Fast Road Re-allignment
Goodridge S/S Brake Lines
Motul Dot 4 Brake Fluid
Delphi Vented Front Brake Disks
Delphi Front Brake Pads
Delphi Rear Brake Pads
Mugen Low Temp Fan Switch
Mugen Low Temp Termostat
SAMCO Coolant Hoses (Blue)
Spoon Front Lower Strut Brace
Spoon Rear Lower Strut Brace
J-Racing Engine Strut Brace
Buddyclub Racing Spec Shifter

As you can see from the above list I have not gone down the cheap route to moddifying, I have selected System-R to do the fitting of all parts and mapping which took 5.5 hours from scratch.

I have covered just over 5k miles since the modifications, I do drive the car as it shouldbe driven but it has never been thrashed and has not seen the red line, nor have I ever 'put my foot down' when the car is cold.

This is by far thye best car I have ever owned and that includes a DC2, Impreza Sti5 V-ltd, EVO6, Lancia Integrale (that was a close one ).

It breaks my heart to part with the car but it is just going to be sitting thre collecting dust.

Performance is as you would expect 262BHP and an incredible performance difference between standard and modified car, this is how they should have been built as the Chassis can easily handle this output.

Due to the condition of the car, low mileage and extensive modifications I think my asking price of £16,995.00 is a very good offer. I am not open to offers but I will consider Part ex for a Mondeo, Vectra, or Passat Diesel up to the value of £5k.

This price is not subject to offers! It is realistically priced to sell, I will not sell the parts so please not offers or PM's for the parts (Andy Take Note )

I will post pictures up on Sunday after a wash, externally it looks like a standard DC5 just a little lower.

P.S -
There is the option to by my sound system which I can discuss with any interested parties.

Thanks

Av.

Cheers, the mods were very expensive, and as you said, well choosen, cost me a fortune, I think someone would bag a bargain at this price.

Can someone please post up some pics for me?

How do you find traction in it out of interest? I love the idea of a S/C one but it feels like a lot through the front. Had a DC2 for a while and didnt like it off the line in the wet.

The S2000 is much better, but more scary when it decides to spin up!

PS - get an interior and engine bay shot - always helps to sell, esp with your shiny mods. I got a Gruppe M too

I find traction to me fine, as long as you fether the pedal in first but once it is off the line then no problem, I get a squeek from the tyres in 2nd and 3rd if pushing along but not all the time. THe standard DC5 really can handle more power but I would stop at what I have done. I was contemplating the Stoker kit but felt it would not be that driveable.

I had taken some more pics of the engine bay and the interior but they were low quality so I'll get some more done tomorrow.

I see! A bit boring though, not a patch on the DC5 for excitement, and the sound of my engine with these mods is unreal...

Not a patch on the S2000 for fun either! Mine was around 18bhp over stock and has noise like touring car! But I miss raw power...

I really do love the VTEC thing and with my GruppeM induction kit and the Toda combination it really does sound fantastic, better than the scooby warbble... THe EVO's are just a fast washing machine and have no sould, fast as hell though. Mind you once mine is moving I can cover ground quicker than I could in my EVO or Subaru, the chassis is that good and the whole car is ballanced so well on the N/A throttle, and 262bhp gives it a very good power to weight ratio.

Cheers mate! Yep, slightly different spec now ;-) the car is almost go-kart like but with the added thrill of F1 esqe soundtrack... I have spent serious money on it and I think it is priced to sell, just need someone to have a look and drive to appreciate it.

It really is a mad sound track every time, espacially when it hits 4800RPM (VTEC kick in point) ;-)

The insurance with Aplan was well cheap, I declared evey mod and it went up by around 10%.

Mental note to you, forget scoobyland and enter the VTEC/Toda world, no disrespect meant to scoobies.
