Vauxhall Omega - Cheap
hey all
Thought id stick this on here as someone else might want a cheap reliable runaround.
I brought this a couple of weeks ago as a runaround whilst my vectra
GSi was being repaired. (front spring cracked, nothing new there!)
its a 2.5V6 Omega CDX automatic in black, first registered in 01/03/1998 it has had 4 previous owners and a complete stamped service history.
it has tax until the end of september and Mot'd until october 26th, new backbox fitted under 2 weeks ago.
car has covered 166k miles, but it has loads of history and a complete service, in the time i've had it it hasnt has any problems at all. excellent at motorway speeds where it will return low 30's mpg or mid to high 20's in town driving.
its got all the toys, 4 x electric windows, electric sunroof, central locking, 4 x airbags, electrtic heated fron seats, sports auto mode, traction control, etc etc.
some minor shopping trolley war wounds, i.e. minor scratch here or there but nothing major at all.
quick sale wanted as now broke after paying for the suspension on the Vectra...
So £500 ono

How many mpg does it average? (my 2l was only doing 22mpg). and any probs with the box.

hey,
Im averaging 26mpg on nearly all town driving and a heavy right foot, auto box is spot on, no slips or noises.
the car is cracking, if i didnt have my GSI which i love to bits, i'd probably sell that!
