It will fit the MY00. The AE800 runs a slightly leaner fuel map, a bit more timing and a bit more boost which means more power and better fuel economy.

WREXY is right. However, it also gives you a spare ECU for not a lot of cash. It also gives you the option to have an Ecutek 2 carried out on your existing ECU whilst still holding an original non-modified ECU.

currently running 1.3 bar at about 250 bhp would it still be worth buying

If you are controlling your boost with an aftermarket boost controller or bleed off valve using a standard MY00 ECU then this ECU would be better.

I assume then that you are running a modded ECU in which case this ECU is only of interest if you want a spare or wish to return your car to standard prior to sale etc.

verry interested ... would this fit a 94L wrx wagon and what differance would it make ? ive got a full decat , apexi induction kit , dump valve , later spec top mount intercooler . standard tdo4 ( at the momet in process of getting tdo5 ) and running at 1 bar.... thats it .
