What condition are they in, any oil showing on the dampers?? How different is the setup from a standard classic, i own a 2001 classic so are your shocks better or worse??

70K and in perfect condition, thats very impressive, mine are only 5 years old and covered only 34000 and the rears are starting to leak.

You got any pics???

They are still fitted to the car !.

The coilovers were checked last time car went in for servicing at a reputable
performance specialist in and around the Midlands (without being specific)


Also, can i ask why you felt to make a comment based on your own circumstances on a for sale thread ? Its like saying I have a pair of trainers which fell apart after i wore them 5 times unlike mine which lasted 50 times - so why did yours last longer than mine

Was not meant sound like a **** but if im thinkin of buyin them surely i can question what condition they are in, especially important when there are thousands of people out there tryin to scam people, i am pretty sure you aint tryin to do that but at the end of the day i dont know you just like you dont know me.

You must admit though for shocks to have covered 70K and be in PERFECT condition is a daring statement, unless you only dry run the car and they have never being wet

No worries, From my perspective -

1. they have been inspected
2. Currently do not leak
3. Currently fitted to car and perform as they should with no rattles/ thumps etc
4. More than welcome to come down and test them - can take you out for a ride as fitted !


Perhaps if you are grammatically correct I should state " Standard suspension, currently fitted with no leaks or rattles, in GOOD WORKING CONDITIOn AND ORDER."

Didnt realise you were in London, collection only is a problem as i am in Stoke up north. Are they coilovers? cos further back you say you had 'coilovers checked at the last service', i may still be interested,

What I meant was that I have coilovers that I am fitting to the car and std shocks etc available.
