Default Volvo V70R AWD 250bhp standard

Reluctantly have to sell my "R" as we have too many cars in the household and I can't persuade my wife out of her Touran. It's a 1997 V70R AWD manual with 130k miles. The car has a full Volvo service history until the most recent service which was carried out by a local specialist by the previous owner.

The V70R was(is) top of the V70 range. It has a 2.3 litre 5 cylinder turbocharged engine producing 250bhp. The car is pretty much fully loaded, with electric memory seats that are heated, electric sunroof, electric windows, mirrors. Dual zone climate control. Very high quality Volvo stereo with in-dash 3 cd changer. Retractable cabin/boot luggage divider. Retractable tonneau cover. Integrated child seat. Trip/fuel economy/temperature computer. The interior is dark grey leather and alcantara.

The car runs perfectly and never misses a beat or uses any oil at all. It's just returned from hauling five of us plus a boot full of luggage around France where it performed perfectly, happily cruising all day at 3 figure speeds regardless of incline.

It is in very good condition, remarkably good in my opinion given the mileage. There is a small scuff (on the rear quarter bumper, on the corner) with nothing else wrong with the body at all. The interior is also pretty much spotless (small sign of wear on the edge of the drivers seat, again hardly noticeable). I am being transparent here with the condition, nobody expects a 9 year old car to be in the same condition it was when brand new. I'm sure nobody would be disappointed with the cosmetic state of this car.

The car has nearly new Pirelli P7000 tyres all round, and recent front and rear brake discs and pads. The aircon was vacuumed and re-gassed in July and is functioning immaculately. all electrics work with the exception of the passenger door lock - it locks ok but does not unlock and has to be manually pulled up - just something I never got around to fixing.

There are no engine issues, oil is clear, no sign of any puffing from the dipstick etc. Any inspection welcome.

It can be yours for £5250.
