I won't even think about asking the missus, she'd just tell me off for being stupid and 'It's a phase', i'm a bloke and it's out job to have phases and waste money for no other good reason then we can

And 6ft, what is it a 1 to 1 scale

You have never flown it
Sounds like too much fun not to give it a go.

If you've never flown R/C, a Spitfire is NOT the one to learn on! I've seen many uninformed people try with disasterous results. For many people, learning to fly R/C safely - even with a trainer model, is as hard as full size.

you are MAD to get 180 quid return fron something that cost 600 and you never used!

If this sale is kosher and it really is never flown someone will get a good buy...

any links to the MFR's page?

why not just turn up at the local club?.....my old man is into this, they seem a decent lot and willing to teach.

A free BTTT for you.

Is probably worth touting it around the local model flying club(s) and or model shops.

Would be worth more if its flight performance had been verified and or you had piccies of it doing so. Ideally, get matey with some of the local model flyers and see if they'll give it the once over....

I second the responsible opinions above... The worst that can happen is you kill someone if you try to do it all by yourself learning to fly it. Most likely result though is a very high rpm wail followed by a huge whump and a spooky silence...provided you get past the take-off bit.
