Default FS - MY05 STi 05 plate 7k miles

Hi all

Unfortunately due to work change am looking to sell my 05 plate STi Type UK NON PPP. Car is completely standard apart from a 6cd multi changer which was installed from new (in the boot).

It is CRYSTAL GREY, as new and has been looked after well, 7k on the clock commuting to and from work. No track use. It has had its 1st 10k service about 6 months ago and has the 3yr free servicing offer of which I have all the paper work. RAC Trackstar is installed which I'm not sure if subs can be transferred? to new owner. Seems to be conflicting views in posts below :/

Would be willing to accept £16,500 for a quick sale!!

In the Wigan area.

Cheers Allan

Car was washed yesterday but only got chance to take pictures tonight so here goes …. As you can see the car is looked after and is perfect except for the following which can be also seen in pics linked to below:

1) mark on back bumper (small as you can see from pics)
2) small chip on wing (again small as you can see and has been touched over with Subaru touch up paint)
3) marks on one of the wheels.

Budgie,

I bought a 54 plate Wagon recently and was about to have a Trackstar fitted when my man found a Trackstar already in the car. He made one phone call and the Trackstar was tested and, having filled in one form, the ownership and subscription were transferred to me.

Your listing says Tracker (which are not transferable) but Matt's reply says Trackstar which, from my experience, are.....??

Anyway, best of luck for a nice looking motor!

Nige

Amended original post to read Trackstar, I've checked the documentation and its a trackstar subscription which can/cant? be transferred according to the posts above. Not sure then if they can or can't be transferred then at the moment

To put a bottom line price on this thread I cannot afford to go any lower than £16,500 which I think is a great deal for a car of this age/milage/condition (someone please correct me if I'm wrong :P ) hehe going to be a nice bargain for someone looking for this type of car with low mileage etc for £16.5k at least one other on here flogging similar with 22k miles or more for same price.

Cheers

Allan

BUMP

Would be willing to take £16k minimum on this. If it doesn't go to anyone on here, I will be going to a stealers at weekend to part ex as I can't wait much longer due to having to change jobs.

Come on pickup a bargain at £16k hehe :P ....seriously I cannot accept any less than 16k for this, its a cracking car with low mileage and is in cracking condition (so it should be it only 18 months old!). I am already left in a position where I owe more to pay on a personal loan that I took out to finance the car. Such is life with owning a scoobie I guess. Lovely car but dont half bite ya on the *** at sale time.

I've had one or two interested on here to date, would like it to go to someone on here rather than a stealers tbh. Its no different than buying off the forecourt which would be over the 18k mark I'm told. Still has warranty left for 2.5 years and has the next 2 services paid for (under the subaru free servicing offer). Trouble free motoring for someone for the next 2.5 years!

Hate to say it mate but the dealers won't give you anything close to 16k. I reckon the best you will get is 14.5k and that will only be if they have a customer waiting. Why would they pay 16k when they can make a profit on a new one currently retailing at 21k? The only way Imprezas make any financial sense is if you buy a used one and keep it for years to even out the remaining depreciation and don't drive it too often to keep the running costs down. My situation was similar to yours and I ended up selling to a dealer too. The only thing I would say is ring around a lot of dealers as the prices I was offered varied by 2.5k. In the end it makes sense to get rid of it quickly as one year driving a normal car will save you so much cash that it will easily offset the stupid depreciation. Good luck.
