1997 WRX STI Type R - Stunning low mileage example
Regrettably selling my much loved Type R, bought this car in April and have loved every minute of owning it, unfortunately due to other stuff going on I need something a bit more practical, like a diesel estate.
I've always cared for this car well, always warmed up and cooled down, best oils used, Optimax/V-power and octane booster.
Genuine 43,000 miles, with full UK and Jap history to verify this, km readings up to 15,xxx in the Jap history and then first MOT in the UK has 10,xxx miles on it.
I've had it on the rollers once, graph included, and it made 291 bhp, standard boost with blitz exhaust and panel filter. It is a very quick car and a joy to drive, DCCD making it more rear end biased and less prone to understeer, very solid and sure footed, need to be a wee bit careful if its slippy, or move the DCCD forward a bit.
The car won "Best Subaru" at the Crail Banzai day when I entered it in the show and shine, you will do well to find a tidier example.

Hi, sorry it's not what I'm looking for. I have another car for track stuff and fun so would only p/x for something sensible and economical like a Volvo diesel estate.

Cheers for the compliment mate, it is a stunning example. Lowered the price a fair bit already and I'm astounded no-one has come to view it yet, the first to do so will take it.
