MY97 STi3 Wagon
A superb car in great condition, this is a very practical sports car for the money. 1996 on a P, it has the following sensible modifications in addition to all the usual STi refinements:
- Anti-lift, anti-dive and bump steer mods all carried out by Powerstation
- Unichip fitted and mapped by Powerstation for UK fuel, up to 1.3 bar – 300bhp. I run it day to day at 1.0 bar
- 4 pot callipers and fast road pads
- HKS intake
- Scoobysport openmouth decat downpipe (comes with catted pipe for MOT time)
- Scoobysport straight-though centre pipe
- Choice of 3 backboxes – 6x4 Magnex, H+S Scoobysport, or Prodrive (Magnex currently fitted)
- 17s with new Toyos
- STi8 main intercooler scoop in carbon fibre, still have standard one
- Intake scoop in carbon fibre, still have standard one
- Greddy electronic gauges in A pillar pod – oil temperature, oil pressure and boost pressure, with peak-hold and warning lights
- There is sound deadening matting fitted throughout the car
- Group N oil pump
- High flow 255l Walbro fuel pump
- Magnecor KV85 ignition leads
- Full set of Scoobysport mats
- Quickshift
The mileage is showing as 108000, but the majority of this is in kilometres. I bought the car at 80000 and a new STi4 engine had just been fitted by API. I’ve had no problems with the car at all, save for changing the MAF sensor and having to clean the idle speed control valve.
There is MOT and tax on the car until September '07. I’ve done all the servicing on the car myself and there’s a comprehensive stack of bills prior to me owning it. The car is always run on 99 RON or Optimax, gets a fresh dose of oil every 3000 miles and a new filter every 6000; she’s always driven with kid gloves until the oil reaches at least 80 degrees and always allowed to run down after being driven. Previously owned by 2 Scoobynet members since being imported. Fitted with a Cat1 alarm system, complete with certificate. There is a private plate on the car, but this will be removed before the sale.
The only negative things are the front bumper is showing signs of the paint peeling a little and the dashboard has faded a little bit. Any inspection is welcome.
I have owned the car for 2 1/2 years and am only selling because in impending divorce is forcing it. I’m located near Retford in North Notts.
£5000 ono. Alternatively I'll put it back to standard and sell at £4000

Thanks guys - not sure what these are selling for these days to be honest, as the ad says the price is negotiable and I believe it is a very good car for the money. If it wasn't for divorce, it wouldn't be sold.
