Default 1996/7 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IV

Well, it's time to go, I'm afraid. Family issues and commitments have forced my hand and I have to sell the car. I've owned it for about 18 months now, being the first UK owner since it was imported in 2005. The specifications and modifications are as follows:

Details
  • 1996/7 Mitusbishi Lancer Evo IV
  • Scotia White
  • 79,000 miles
  • 5 months Tax & Test
  • Recent new clutch (within last 2000 miles)
  • Just had MAJOR service, including all belts and fluids changed.

Performance
  • Brembo front brakes / discs
  • Full stainless Decat*
  • HKS mushroom air filter
  • Greddy Profec-B electronic boost controller
  • Ohlins adjustable front & rear struts
  • Mitsubishi front strut brace
  • * Second exhaust also inlcuded (3" stainless with original Catalytic converter)

Security
  • Clifford CAT1 alarm with Blackjaxx and Turbo Timer.

Styling
  • 17" Tommi Makinen Enkei alloys & tyres
  • Rear windows tinted
  • Clear indicator lenses

Interior
  • Ralliart car mats
  • Pioneer CD/MP3 head unit with Ipod interface
  • Bluetooth hands-free kit
  • Uprated front & rear speakers

(click the pictures for the larger version)

£6495 ono

Please either email me or phone 07976135768 for further details.

Full details on vehicle can be found here.

Thanks

Steve

Just purely out of interest are these things "that" much better than a classic STI of the same year?

Also, are they alot more expensive to run than scoobs in general?

Only ask because I'd like a 5 but I like 4s too.

I had a MY99 before this, and there's nothing in it tbh. Fair enough, the AYC adds some labour onto the service, but apart from that the running costs are about the same.

The major (£800+) service has just been done on this one - timing belt, and all fluids, as well as a new clutch - so that's one less worry
