I paid close to 30k for it, and have now spent close to 15k on it in the last 6 months. The car comes with 1 years engine warranty from norris designs, please call simon on 01225 700748 to discuss or any questions The engine has just been rebuilt to a new spec on the dyno and has only covered 400 miles, it can be easily made up to 600-700 hp by changing the turbo kit and remap, everything else is in place. However as it is, its a seriously usable package, its the biggest power car ive driven that actually seems drivable round town, it behaves really well, the brand new clutch feels light, although there is a short biting point. The torque under boost with the 2.3 feels really good, its much different to the 2.2, more drivable and its got .5 bar in 3rd gear by 3500rpm so is already well starting to shift. It can also do 26+mpg on a run if you stay off the gas

its now had everything i can possibly do to it done, i keep my cars no expense spared, the manifold had a little crack, i bought a new one, brakes wobbled a bit, i replaced the discs, gearbox felt funny, i rebuilt it, ive
spent fortunes really making it the perfect time attack, track/fast rd combo.

new engine has done 400 miles at time of writing this it has some basic graphics on car as per pic lots of receipts and stuff i can sell as is or remove anything of value to take a bit of the price accordingly but i think with the 1 year warranty from simon its a great buy any questions give me a call, no timewasters, test pilots, canvassers or just plain dreamers, im not really interested if u need to sell your car, just someone with the cash or cheap px

I'm surprised it hasn't sold after all the time you've had it for sale, but maybe the asking price is a bit much?

I doubt a similar Scoob, with that power and a warranty would be as much as that?

as i said, i paid 30k for it and spent 15k on it in 6 months, its well worth the asking price, how many cars of 600hp can u find for sale with a years engine warranty? its aimed not for ur average joe but at someone who is interested in building a big power/track and road car, simple turbo kit change and car is still warrantied will run up to 7-8**hp

and maybe a similar scoob wouldnt, but its not a scoob

btw, its only been for sale for less than a few weeks, and i took it off sale to add a brand new turbo core which i forgot to add in the advert, ie brand new gt core assembly another grand on the price thats its cost! lol

well to build an engine like this your looking at probably 10k+ more like 15k thats not included everything that goes into it, ie block breather system 400quid, fuel lines 500quid, new manifold 400quid, new clutch 1200quid, new turbo core 700quid, then you have all the surrounding bits, brakes susp, spare gearbox, car itself, i forgot to also mention the head is fully worked over, if in doubt or have many tech questions give me a call or phone simon at norris designs, if anyone has been to any events this year, they will know the norris designs car and how well it performs

my receipt just a few weeks ago was for something like 9800quid!! and like i said, the best selling point is the fact you can have a 500-600hp car with a warranty on the engine

just to reiterate something as per time wasting people who have been contacting me

1 the car will not be being sold cheap, dont call me or pm me and offer me silly money as id rather let it rot, ive been offered 29k 3 times now, i havent sold it

2 the engine is under warranty for 1 year, if in doubt of this, phone and speak to simon norris, its done 400 miles

3 most things on the car are brand new, there is really little else that can break

brand new engine parts, cams, pistons, crank, bearings, oil pump
brand new turbo core gt30
brand new oil catch setup
brand new fuel lines
brand new clutch
brand new brake discs
newly rebuilt gearbox by john roberts waiting to be fitted plus gearbox in car with no problems

just to remind you, if the car is 'a little more than you want to spend' or 'not quite worth the money i have it advertised for' dont call me to let me know

on the other hand, if you want to buy a top piece of kit for the right money then give me a bell, ive spent several hrs on the phone to people explaining anything that they want to know, not a problem
