I have just taken this in px for another car.

I dont really need it though so it needs to go.

it has 6 months tax and mot until june 2007, on a cold startup it starts on the key, but its rattley, apparantly usual for these engines, its ready for a service so it will have oil and glow plugs and filter done before it goes.

externally its not the prettiest of cars, it has a dint on the front near side wing, a couple of scrapes on the side and a small surface rust blob, about the size of a 50 p piece.

on the rear door theres a few patches of rust and to be fair it could do with being replaced but if your after a work hack id leave it as is.

its got escort rs turbo phase 2 alloys (i think they are anyway, they look like them, think they called them dog legs?) tyres all seem within limits, theres a brand new spare.

inside the drivers seat has bolster damage, but everything else seems ok. sunroof works, dosent seem to leak, no damp patches anyway.

electric front windows are fine, rear manual windows also work fine.

all heaters etc work, although the heated rear screen dosent seem to work, it maybe a fuse, but I will check.

internally the car looks tidy, and externally really as well, its not a show winner but if your after a tidy reliable work car or second car, this could be the one for you, once warm the engine ticks over nice, and pulls great, you can really feel the turbo working.

I have given the engine a steam clean off and got rid of all the dirt and let it have a good run, and theres no leaks in there, all the fluids are at correct levels, and the oil is clean.

I have just cleaned it and im going to polish it, just to see what it comes up like (probably the first time its ever been done) and I will take some pictures.

I am looking for £500 ono bearing in mind its got £100 worth of tax with it. (dont forget this could be seriously cheap running for someone, as it will run on cooking oil)

its got 65000 on the clock, theres some history with it as well and it seems to be genuine.
