Hi
Im selling a U8 ecu for Pre 96 Classics with a genuine Fujitsu 27c1028 chip as used by prodrive. The Chip cost £210 a while ago and then was fitted by a supplier to a U8 ecu.
The very very sought after chip is a proper fujitsu one which nearly all chips on ebay or based on like the scoobyecus and has been discontinued for a long time now. I now longer need as ive Got a apexi power fc & commander and boost contral
Below is some of the spec of the chip.
The key features of the map include:
- Increase in boost to 16.5 psi
- Improved boost control
- Modified ignition timing to make the remap suitable for UK super unleaded fuels without the need for Octane Booster
- Removal of the vehicle speed limiter for imported vehicles.
- it also raises the fuel cut to over 18 psi.
- Will not illuminate your Check Engine Light
ran this on a 1995 wrx with only induction kit and Decat exhaust system and the differance with very noticable.
It will fit all early wrx's up to 1996 but not after that.
Seen these going for over £250 so Looking for £250 inc postage as its a U8 ecu with the chip already fitted.
I bought this off a member here a few months ago for more then this and its fully workin just doing a upgrade again so not needed now
the person who sold the chip to the last owner is Kim hathaway and a prodrive tech. so its genuine.
Pm me for more details if needed

Might still be interested,
Car is a 1993 import WRX and was on a RR on Sun and made 238.8Bhp With just the exhaust changed (although there was a problem with slight power loss for approx 750rpm (4250-5000) then it picked up again...
Car's having a full 60k miles service today and cambelt tomorrow. As long as they don't find anything drastically wrong (ie expensive...lol), I might be interested in making you an offer for it.
Ta for your reply
Ady.
