Thanks mate - look forward to hearing from you.
mccltd - Good spot on the exhaust front! I used one of the photos as wallpaper on my pc and had to invert the image to square it up. If you look closely you can see that the 'Subaru' writing on the boot says 'urabuS'
Cheers

Out of interest how did you manage 45,000 miles in a year and a bit. Do you use your car for business or do you just really, really like it. That's a lot of miles for a short time.
Nice looking car though. Obviously serviced and looked after.

Come on boys and girls!
Still struggling for ideas for presents? This beautiful car will make the perfect Christmas gift for someone. A bit more than you were planning to spend? Everything is negotiable!

Just a thought... Most people here already own Scoobs, so this is not the forum that will generate you a lot of leads Try advertising it on loot.co.uk and places like that.
About the price. Go to a dealer and offer to sell or part-ex it and see what they offer. That will be your rock-bottom price estimate then...
Good luck!

Thanks mate! Although it's surprising how many newbies there are looking for their first scoob. Bottom line is I'm trying every possibel avenue at the moment - especially free ones!
Pete
Nothing serious. A dealer sent me an SMS this afternoon offering £10.5K!! That'll mean a drop of £13.5K in 20 months - intergallactic depreciation, or what. Something tells me the smart thing to do might be to hang onto it until the end of the lease when it's going to be worth a round of drinks in any case.
I'll have another go in Autotrader etc in the New Year.
Cheers

If £15k is generating no interest, and £10.5k is an insult, what do you think it will sell for? Subaru Main Dealer in Surrey has a similiar motor to yours for sale (W Plate, 43k Miles, 1 owner 17" alloys). They were asking £15K (fortnight ago) but prepared to negotiate if no p/ex.

Don't you just love these dealers! I can't believe that they are now sending offers out by SMS! Perhaps they too embarassed to actually say the figure '£10k' out loud in the knowledge that they will sticker-it-up at £15k as soon as you've left the forecourt!
Have you contacted MattN for his view on the value [scoobprices@yahoo.co.uk] ?
I am selling my MY00 Euro import at the moment too and he suggested a figure very close to what I had in mind - which was reassuring!
Hope you both (Kav & Ellis4779) get a decent price!

Why are you angry with people because they didnt want to buy your car?
So they could have bought it for £11K, so what, no one wanted too. They probably wont buy it for £14K at the dealers either.
It's frustrating trying to sell a good car at what you see as a good price but thats not our problem, it's yours. Being pissed at us is daft.
