On a serious note Shaun and please dont swear at me.....I'd buy this car from you.....cash of course....to do what with it I dont know but would certainly cherish it......my firm offer would be £ ?k ! ( you and I know )
I'm not a messer Shaun.....business all round is bad....no-one knows when a bargain's a bargain these days....I've caught a cold a few times this last year losing more than I care to imagine.
A photo would be great ?
Regards
Chris

Hi All,
I have had a number of enquiries about my LC but no-one has been brave enough to buy it yet! Just a reminder, here is the spec:
LOTUS CARLTON, Number 0441, 3.6 24V twin turbo, 1992, LHD, Imperial green, 63k miles, 6 speed manual, abs, pas, e/w, e/s/r, a/c, Black leather interior, CD Player, Clifford Cat 1 alarm/immobiliser, Tracker, Car related plate, MOT Feb, Tax Mar, A brand new engine complete with all ancillaries (turbo's, etc) worth £26k was fitted at 54k miles, Serviced in September, Brake pads recently replaced all round, 377 bhp standard, Still the fastest production saloon ever made, Very good condition, Genuine sale and a very genuine bargain. May trade it in as part exchange for a Mitsubishi Evo V or VI if anyone's interested. If any more info is required then please feel free to mail me.
Will listen to offers in the region of £13k, which with the relatively new engine fitted, let alone the rest of the car which is in good nick, is an absolute bargain. Must go soon.
BTW if anyone's worried about the insurance, I had an Evo II before this and my premiums were reduced for the LC.
Cheers
Shaun

Will now accept £12.5k. It needs to go, and I am getting a bit p****d off with all the timewasters I'm getting, so the sooner it goes, the sooner I don't have to put up with any more of them.
If only there was a bargain like this about when I was looking for one. I paid £k's more than this for this very same car!
Cheers

Go on then, £12k and that's as low as I can go, and that's just because it's Christmas!!!
It really has to go before Christmas. This is cheaper than an old dog of a Lotus Carlton would go for, making it a real genuine bargain.
No problem mailing any photo's of the beast if anyone wants to see any.
This surely is the bargain of a lifetime. Just 6 months ago it was advertised for £17k when I bought it, and I have had it serviced, fitted a CD player, fitted a Cat 1 alarm, replaced the brake pads all round....
This is an absolute steal. If you don't believe me then come and have a look, or look at the photo's first.
Someone will get this absolute bargain soon. It could be you!!!!!
Cheers

OK, my missus is going to kill me anyway after paying £16k for this 6 months ago - Will now accept £11k. The engine alone was worth £26k last year and is one of the last ever made, maybe I should take the engine out and sell it by itself..... Someone might realise what a bargain they would have then.....

Well, now that thing they call Christmas is out of the way, how about turning your thoughts into buying a lovely LC. I thought it would be gone by now, had a couple of seemingly genuine buyers, but it looks like even they might have been wasting my time all along, along with god knows how many I've had now.....

Come on chaps - if you can stand to drive a LHD car, this is a bargain! I know it's history and it's a good-un. Cars of this quality just don't normally get sold so cheaply. OK, so a RHD car went for less recently, but the owner was in a very big hurry to sell and didn't advertise it in the right places. I know of at least 15 people in LC circles (including me and I've already got one) who would have paid much, much more had they known it was for sale.
They ain't gonna get any cheaper than this unless you want a real dog of a car. Prices are set to rise soon! Go on - treat yourself to real supercar!

Ha ha - Yeah I noticed that as well. I think the BBS must get confused sometimes as I've seen a few dates on threads that have come out as the wrong month. I think it has mixed up 04/01 and 01/04??? Certainly no fishy smell eminating from this thread.
