Default sony vpl cx6

home cinema projector.

this had a new bulb in it at the begining of the year and its used about 350 hours upto now.

picture size from around 30 inches upto a whopping 120 inches without distortion or picture loss, from the 2000 ansi unit.

I have used this purely for home cinema and gaming, its the top of the range version and has every extra option, it cost around £2000 new, they can still be bought new now for around £1500.

the benefit next to plasma is the life span amd size variability, if a bulb goes you replace it and you have the life span of a new unit again, if a plasma goes thats its gone.

I and a mate have just entered the scumball rally and want to get the entrance fees togeather for it. hence im selling things I dont really need

looking for £450 ovno

I can get pictures if required.

it depends if you want an original or a patent one.

I put a sony one in and it cost £350, you can get them on ebay for around £200 though, for general use ie films and games you will use around 3 hours a day, at that it will last 2 years! thats on high quality, on low output it will last about 5 years!!

it will run of a pc or a video etc, do a google for more info, it is the top of the range unit.

it has all the wires and remote, but no roof mounts.

no

on some you would need it to be in a dark room, this one is 2000 ansi lumens (do a google) which is one of the highest available.

if you opt to goto the lower output and hence lower ansi (1200 iirc), its advisable to use it in the dark as the quality drops, you definatly see it lose the crisp edges it has on full qaulity and rightly so.

feel free to pm me if you want anymore details mate, more than happy to point you in the right direction for online information.

I'd put this over on the AVforums if I were you, as you may have a better chance there.
