Nikon D70 Body, broken shutter mechanism.
Anyone with a scratched sensor, broken screen, bent card pins, knackered battery or charger. I have a UK Nikon D70 with a faulty shutter mechanism. The mirror is constantly in the raised position. It can be moved down by hand, but springs straight back up.
The shutter still operates, as does all of the menu system, and it's already been upgraded to the later firmware(V2). It would be ideal for anyone who wishes to refurb this, or replace any faulty parts on your own D70.
The sensor board is particularly easy to remove, taking roughly only 10 minutes.
The rear screen is in A1 condition, and comes with the original screen protector, which is always left on, so understandably isn't in great condition, but are only about £3 to replace.
The top screen is also in good condition.
I hope to upgrade to a D2Xs in the summer, so it will be no use to me whatsoever.
