SUPERB FUN AND WILL EMBARRASE AN AWFUL LOT OF FAST, EXPENSIVE MACHINERY ON THE TRACK IN THE RIGHT HANDS!!
BUILT WITH GREAT CARE TO DETAIL, USING CORRECTLY CHOSEN PARTS TO MAKE A VERY EXCITING AND RELIABLE CAR
BODYWORK
FINISHED IN ORIGINAL CHERRY RED, WHICH IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND HAS NOT FADDED TO THE NORMAL PINK
CAR HAS GTI REAR PANEL AND LEXUS REAR LIGHTS .
FRONT SPOILER HAS LOST THE FOG LIGHTS AND HAD RECESSES CUT OUT TO AID BRAKE COOLING.
NON SUNROOF MODEL!!
INTERIOR
ALL CARPETS AND HEADLININGS REMOVED
OMP FIA ROLL CAGE PROFESSIONALLY FITTED, WITH WELDED-IN MOUNTING BLOCKS, DOOR BARS AND DIAGONAL, FULLY PADDED IN ALL THE RIGHT AREAS.

ELECTRIC WINDOW'S STILL IN PLACE WITH DOOR CARDS

1.9 BOTTOM END, COMPRESSION TESTED, ALL VERY STRONG AND EVEN, WINDAGE PLATE AND UPRATED PUMP. FLOWED AND PORTED HEAD, STANDARD VALVES, ALL DONE BY RUSS TYLER ENGERNEERING. PIPER 285 CAM WITH VERNIER PULLY, TWIN 40 DELLORTO CARBS, REBUILT CORRECT JETS, NEW LINKAGE AND TWIN THROTTLE CABLE.
ROLLING ROAD TUNED GIVING 133 BHP AT WHEELS.
MAGNECOR LEADS, OIL COOLER FITTED, NEW CLUTCH, REBUILT DRIVE SHAFTS, NEW GEARBOX SEALS, NEW RADIATOR, EVERY WATER PIPE REPLACED, EVEN METAL ONES, EVERY JUBILEE CLIP REPLACED, PIPER CROSS AIR FILTERS, OIL BREATHER, GROUP N SOLID ENGINE MOUNTS FITTED AND SUMP BAFFEL.
SUSPENSION
SPAX FRONT NITROGEN GAS WITH UPRATED LOWERED SPRINGS. REAR NON ADJUSTABLE NITROGEN GAS SHOCKS REBUILT REAR BEAM GROUP N SOLID MOUNTING KIT, REPAINTED, EVERY BUSH HAS BEEN REPLACED ON CAR WITH POLYBUSH SPORT SPEC. UPPER AND LOWER STRUT BRACES FITTED.
BRAKES
STANDARD SIZE DRILLED AND GROOVED FRONT DISC'S, FERODO DS 2500 PADS, REARS BRAND NEW CALIPERS DISCS/PADS BACK PLATES, EVERY BRAKE PIPE REPLACED WITH COPPER PIPES, AND GOODRICH FLEXI PIPES USED. ALSO IN-CAR ADJUSTABLE BRAKE BIAS VALVE WHICH CAN BE REACHED FROM DRIVERS SEAT WITH REAR BRAKE PIPES IN CAR. THE BRAKES ARE TRULY UNBELIEVEABLE AND CAN EASILY CLOSE 100 YARDS ON A HEAVIER CAR ON THE TRACK

BRAND NEW 6 x 15 ALLOYS FITTED WITH 195/50/15 YOKOHAMA A539 TYRES AGAIN BRAND NEW. ALSO THE CAR COMES WITH THE ORIGINAL 1.9 GTI ALLOYS (5 OF THEM) RECENTLY REFURBISHED AND WEARING HALF WORN YOKOHAMA A539 195/45/15
CAR HAS BEEN GREAT FUN TO OWN, THE OVER ALL PACKAGE OF IMPROVED PERFORMANCE, PERFECT HANDLING, SUPERB BRAKES AND AGILITY MAKE THIS CAR A FORCE TO BE RECOND WITH. I’VE TAKEN PART IN 8 TRACKDAYS THIS YEAR AND NOT ONCE HAS THE CAR LET ME DOWN. AFTER EACH OUTING THE CAR IS THROUGHLY CHECKED OVER AND ALSO HAS THE ENGINE OIL AND FILTER CHANGED, NEW BRAKE FLUID BLEAD THROUGH THE SYSTEM AND GEARBOX OIL CHANGED.
HAVE MY EYE ON A NEW PROJECT SO THAT’S THE ONLY REASON FOR SELLING, JUST HOPING THE NEXT ONE IS AS MUCH FUN AS THIS ONE HAS BEEN
CAR ALSO HAS MOT TILL JUNE 07 AND TAXED FOR ANOTHER MONTH
THIS IS NO PART FINISHED BODGE, BUT A FULLY SORTED, COMPETATIVE CAR.
