Pics aren't actually 'uploaded onto this site' as such. You store them somewhere else and just point to them, here's how...
1. Create an account over at photobucket - Free Image and Video Hosting - Photo Image Hosting Site : Photobucket.com
2. Upload the pics into your photobucket account
3. When you open your photobucket gallery beneath each pic you will see 3 fields
URL Link
HTML Tag
IMG Code
For posting in threads you just need to copy the full content of the 'IMG Code' field for the pic you want. It looks like [ IMG ] .....link .... [ / IMG]
(I cant put the exact code here to a pic as you wouldnt see it - you'd just see the pic lol).
Don't forget to resize your pics to a decent (800x600 ish) resolution and this will also bring down the physical image size in Kb. Recommend you use .jpg file format. There are of course other hosting services to store your pics, but photobucket is quick, easy and fast.
Not reeeealy a 'for sale' topic question, try keep your posts in appropriate forum - and first dibs on whatever you are selling if it's cheap and good
