RED SERIES 1 TURBO
I know it aint a scoob but i am looking for 1 so i thought i would see if anyone wants to swap or buy this cracking car.
It is a c-plte red rs turbo which was stripped and rebuilt using brand new parts also it had a bareshell respray.Has a power engeneering stage 2 engine 220bhp,scorpion exh,induction kit,pace cooler,dump valve,samco hoses,paddle clutch,stronger gearbox,red leather,17inch diamond cut 7 spokes,lowered susspension uprated brakes,very very fast.
I seen this car getting built and the owner spent alot of money on it was built using new ford parts over £10,000 spent on it if not more has 6 months tax and years mot

not sure on the red but i thought the only ones were the datapost cars?? only one was done blue but started life as white, as for the black S1 there was only ever one made, which lady di had, i have a pic of that somewhere

red on log book and no sigh of white anywhere i seen this car bare as a friend built it red underneath the lot no change of colour on book hpi`d it is proper rare red turbo anyone want to swap for a subaru

The only non white S1 was the black princess Di car, the red datapost ones were infact white then recalled to the factory for red resprays...the vin tags still say white on them
asi said its a crackin car and absolutely mint done to the highest standard, get it on RSOC or PassionFord and it will sell in no time

Remember reading about the lady di owned s1 rs turbo the owner had alledgly been offered maga money ( 12k upwards ) for it but would still not part with it, always wondered what happened to that car and indeed if it is still around to this day ??
then there was the s1 " cats eyes " rs rurbo in its lovely shade off blue - from the tv programme, seen this at an rsoc day once and must admitt it really did look welll smart !!! anyone else remember this particular car ??
lastly a good few years since last seeing any off the rs1600i models off mk3 escort- memories eh ??!!
BTTT for you anyway mate !!!

hi im intrested in the car, but its not a original factory colour, the only colours which were not white to leave the factory was diana's black s1 & cats eyes azure blue, to clear up what some people have posted the red datapost cars were orignally rs16i's ford just supplied the team with all the running gear to convert them to turbo instead of giving them a whole new car, the grey s1 was bought in white then returned straight away to be sprayed that colour, im sure i can prove your red s1 is not a original colour as the vin tag paint code will prove, do you have any pics of the vin tags and/or pics of the strut tops

is this the same car that got abused on the rsoc site does it still have two bolts to hold the suspension legs on each of the front struts unkike a real s1 thats only held with the central bolt through the top of the strut.Sorry for this post if its not but that reg number rings alarm bells for some reason and buyers should know if it not genuine.
