I've got an electronic box from Scoobysport that removes the P0420 error when a cat is removed. Since the ecu reads a de-cat pipe as a
"low efficiency" cat which isn't working properly, this box of tricks amends the signals so ecu sees normal readings and no fault code is flagged.

Comes with wiring instructions, can also supply ecu details for terminal connections on 01/02 WRx's. You just need to plumb it into the correct exhaust gas sensor depending on which cat you remove (I'd recommend up-pipe removal to aid spool and power).
