Is it stainless, and how does it sound compared to a Prodrive BB.
May be very interested as want to replace my Magnex with something slightly less loud, but not as quiet as standard.

its off a v4 sti. the cars has only done 10,000. can post to any where for £150. Its from the cat back and is in mint con. Has sti stamped on the 3" exit pipe. Mail me if you want it....

it is the b/b plus the centre section. because it is factory fitted it has to meet strict jap noise levels(jasma). sound is nice and not to loud. I am replacing it for alot louder system. HKS Drager.

I have one of these fitted at the moment on my MY00. It breathes much better at the top end compared to the standard bb, and I'm actually getting between 30-40 miles extra per tank since I fitted it. Also being a subaru item it shouldn't affect warranty/insurance.
The sound is a bit deeper than before but is not intrusive in the cabin so you'll be fine on motorway journeys etc. Sounds nice when you open her up above 3500rpm too.

I am interested provided it will fit my RB5. A friend mentioned that he thought STI was a slightly larger bore? Anyway give me a call if its still available, I ve mailed you my No.
