Default Thinking of selling my Terzo!!!!!!

It's only a thought at the moment..... BUT I had always planned on getting a Bug eye eventually, so I'm putting the feelers out....

Look the the "My Scooby" tag for all the details....

I have been told I'm pretty fussy (?), so i guess it's a good example.

As I said i'm really after a 2001 onwards Bug, but feedback please?

BB

I know..... It's only an idea at the moment.... I've just finished putting together the Terzo register!!!!

I love the car and have made sure everything that has ever needed doing has been addressed. I.e. the Cambelt was changed by Subaru but as the car had only done 10K in three years (only used occasionally by old owner), I still had belt changed.....

Test driving a new age STI tomorrow and go from there?

Why on earth would you spend all that time on money getting the car to the spec you wanted, then go get a bug eye?

You've got a lovely little limited edition car there and you want to change it for the worst looking Impreza style?

Car has 114k (see below) but had new engine at 40k by Subaru due to the 98 pistonslap issue....

I'd like offers over 6K (I've been offered this by a dealer) and that was before Apexi ECU and remap......

Two previous owners, both known by me and work with (which is why I brought the car...)

I work in design and development for a large car manufacturer and the first owner used it as his company car (contractor). He brought it for £30k (have all bills) and ran it until 110k fully serviced by Subaru regardless of cost.

His best mate brought the car but never used it (doing about 6k in 3 years!!!), he decided it wasn't getting used enough so I brought it from him spending a small fortune making sure the car is in the best shape using the best parts....

Terzo is nice mate but a bug sti is a much better car.. youre doing the right thing mate.. forget the bug haters...
I cant see you having trouble selling its a nice example.

Deffo dont spend any more money on it though if you really want a new one.

Cheers Frayz for the kind comments on the car....

It's going to be real hard to sell. It's booked with Zak for more tweeks next week.....!! I've put so much time (and money) into this car, someone is going to get a really nice rare classic.

Here's the spec again....Photos below:

1998 Classic Subaru Impreza Turbo 2000 AWD Terzo in Sonic Blue

One of 333 made to celebrate Subaru winning the World Rally Championship for the third time in a row.

Dealer fit when new:

STI Rear Boot Spoiler

STI Front Spoiler

Side, Rear skirts, Mirrors and Door handles colour coded

PIAA Driving Lamp conversion

Quick Shift Gear Lever

Fitted by Xtreme Scoobies, Mocom Racing or me:

TIM White Turbo Boost Gauge in full length pillar pod (looks std, not boy racer)

Crystal Headlamps and Side Lights with Clear indicators (new)

WRC Scoobyworld Mudflaps

Eibach Pro Uprated/Lowered Spring Kit (Prodrive Settings. I have had this done more than once even when I changed rims!!!! £80 each time)

Whiteline Rear Anti-Roll Bar (new)

Noltec Alloy Rear Droplinks (new)

18" Mille Miglia Alloy Wheels fitted with Avon rubber (both only done about 100 miles, no marks)

Subaru 4 Pot Brake set up (New discs and pads)

Green Air Filter

Hayward and Scott Jap Style Rear Box (not in pic), Decat centre and Downpipe (heat wrapped)

Baileys Sport Dump Valve

Dawes Boost Controller (new)

Knock Link (new)

Blaupunkt CD/MP3 Head Unit with Uprated front speakers and 6x9 rears (only 1 month old)

Momo Leather Gear **** (new)

Brought but not yet fitted YET (should be this weekend):

Grooved Frt Brake discs

Braided Hoses

Alloy Intercooler Y-pipe

Apexi Power FC ecu

Sytec Fuel Regulator

Walbro 255 Fuel Pump

I've had loads of interest in the car, but as I've said, I'm due to test drive a new STI today, so will decide later if to sell....

Thanks for the interest.

Had a few question re. price and spec.....

I'd been offered £6k without Apexi, Fuel Reg (only turned up new in post today), Walbro, Grooved disks and bits......

So offers invited with the above invited.

As I've said all along, I'm going to wait if i don't get the price I feel it deserves.....

This needs to go to another fellow Scoobynet fan....

not really au fait with current prices but what about something really special like an S202, they are great cars; super rare, super quick and understated for how formidable a weapon it is...its the only salon i'd ever own
