R180 rear 4.444 diff from Sti RA WRC 555 Ltd MY99
Hiya,
For Sale
R180 rear 4.444 diff from Sti RA WRC 555 Ltd MY99.
Fitted a new one today and although feels a little tighter, the main noise seems to be coming from a wheel bearing!
It is definately an R180 and has 40 teeth on crown so is a 4.444 ratio.
Probably a plated LSD version as well as I think all R180's are.
Car had done just over 49,000 miles when changed.
These diffs are very rare.
Offers please, can deliver but item is very heavy, much beefier than R160 units.
Cheers.

Well the replacement cost me a lot of money all in but does have a 3month gaurantee.
I'm still unsure of the old diffs condition, as the main noise is now confirmed from a rear wheel bearing.
Diff worked OK but did seem snatchy but I have now been told they all do that to a certain extent, doh!
I have had an offer which I am considering as I need the space but as usual the potential buyer cannot commit till next month.
But please remember diff will be sold as seen as I have no idea about what an aggresive plated LSD diff is or should really feel like.
It will take me a week+ to fully test this new diff to see how much better it is, if at all.
I should really stick to computers, LOL.
