Bootlid speaker install
As detailed here: https://www.scoobynet.com/ice-2/5838...r-install.html
I am now selling the bootlid part of the install. I made a mark on it when I removed it last time so just need to touch it up then its ready for sale.
The speakers fitted are a couple of JBL 5.0C and a couple of 6.5" Kenwood 3 ways. I will check on the model of the Kenwoods tonight just to confirm.
The speakers on their own are worth around £80 second hand so for the whole bootlid speaker build I am going to ask £225 which I think it is worth due to the amount of manhours that it took to build, also the fact thats its a one off and to get a professional company to do this would cost a lot more! I am open to offers if you think I am asking to much.
Collection from Gloucester or Somerset area would be the best idea becuase I really dont think it would be a good idea to send it via the postal system. I regularly drive up and down the M5 so could also meet up at an M5 junction.
I could also lend a hand with the installation for a small fee (cups of tea) if required.

it looks quality mate,
shame its for a classic, i got a bugeye and i'm doing mine at the mo, only at the stage of sound deadening at the mo, used dynomat and just filled half of the boot lid with expanding foam, still got to finish off the other side.
i've never worked with fibre glass before but am aiming to do the bootlid and then the door cards.
is it a job that can be done by a first timer? i don't think i'm going to have spaekers in my bod lid thou, maybe just a light sign thingy

You need to fix two bolts on the bootlid, fit the speaker box over them and put a washer and nut on to secure them. I can run over the installation with the biyer and even lend a hand fitting them if required.
The wires are inside the black flexible pipe which you cable tie to the bootlid arm, the wires come out of the pipe out of site so it doesnt look messy.
Has it been painted? erm, yes. Look at the pictures, its purple and white. Yes it could be painted another colour very easily.
