hey just a though, have you considered an exhaust bung to lower the noise down a bit? Might be an easier solution.

They pop up on ebay frequently, Blitz do them but it might not be the correct size for your system

Blitz UK: Products > Exhausts > NUR Spec R > MP2101

Also worth trying to see if you have a powerflow place or other outfit that builds custom stainless systems near to you.
