Default Very nice MY2000 UK turbo with 304BHP and only 63k

Here we have for sale my much loved Subaru Impreza Turbo. Its Dark Mica Blue and looking for arround £6500 with all the mods as listed below of with the car standard apart from wheels and Brambo brakes which i will leave on for arround £5750.

This car is in very good condition and has has several thousands of pounds spent to make it very fast whilst still being 100% reliable.

The main upgrades include:-

1) VF35 turbo from new shape STI Version 8.

2)STI version 8 Top mount intercooler

3)Full sport stainless steel exhaust including down pipe, center and back box. (Prodrive)

4)STI Gold Brembo Brake conversion (this car stop as well as it goes!)

5)Visual Knock Link (detenation detector) this is fitted to ensure that any detenation can be spotted before it damages the engine - ie if you filled up with a bad batch of fuel, of MAF sensor failure this would let you know)

6)Up rated fuel pump

7)17 inch Prodrive style PPF7 Alloys with good Toyo Proxi tyres.

8)Green panel filter (not a cone filter which can damage the delicate MAF sensor resulting in engine damage!)

9) This is a model year 2000 car and therefore comes as standard with STI suspension.

10) Custom ECUTEK remap (with open licence)

11) uprated clutch (upto 400BHP)

12) Lightened Fly Wheel

All the mods were carried out about 12000 miles ago.

The car is low mileage under 64000 and come with full service history, and folder including bills etc. The service history is about 3/4 Subaru Main dealer and the other by a very good garage who specialise in performance cars.

The Bodywork is great the only area which could be improved is the stone chips on the front of the bonnet, but this would be cheap to repair.

Some of the alloys are kerbed as they are quite exposed due to the low profile tyres but could easily be refurbed if you wanted them mint. The tyres are Toyo Proxis (all 4) with lots of good tread left.

The interior is in very good condition.

Mechanically the car has allways been maintained regarless of expense and is in very good shape. The brakes are quite new, its just has a new radiator, recent uprated clutch and lightened fly wheel, the gear box works as it should with no noises that should not be there and the engine is very smooth and powerfull.

This car is also always run on Shell V-Power Petrol which includes powerfull detergents which should mean the internals of the engine and fuel system are in good order.

The Private plate is not included and this car will be returned to its V reg plate.

Please also note this car has not been thrashed or taken on trackdays, I am a Solicitor not a boy racer and the car has been driven mainly by my girlfriend.

Please feel free to come and view the car and you can call me on 01909 519665 or 07843633224

Car is located near Sheffield just 5 mins from jct 31 of the M1.

The car is 100% HPI clear (with certificate) and has no finance etc.

not sure how to post pictures but can give you ebay link or email some to you my email is garethjen@lineone.net

Very good Suspension set up on MY2000 Classic.
Rated highly by Evo in the RB5 which has the same suspension.
Good luck with the sale mate.

Hi, it does come with STI spec suspension as far as I know, as does the MY99 which is why the MY99 and MY00 have a much firmer ride then the MY98, that is what I read on SIDC website anyway. Also the other poster is correct The MY 00 and My99 suspension is the same as the highly rated (by EVO) RB5. The MY00 and MY99 also have sti (v5 i think!) spoiler and sti subaru 4 pot brakes (again fron the V5 i think). I did not want to mislead anyone and accept I may be wrong but I know for a fact the MY99 and MY00 suspension is uprated over the MY98.

I wasn't being negative, I've never heard that though. Hope it's true, I've got a MY00 aswell.

"1999
The 1999 car continues the trend of fitting parts from the Japanese STi cars, including the front seats (although with a bit more padding) including height adjustment for the drivers seat; 4-pot front brake calipers and vented rear discs; and the high rear wing. Suspension, in line with STis, is now considerably firmer."

the above is a qoute from the website mentioned before i.e. SIDC website.

I took the above to mean that the MY99 and MY00 have sti seats, 4 pots, spoiler and suspension.

Is £6250 a fair price for this very nice Impreza with all the mods? Any thoughts? Cheers.

I think it means that the suspension on the UK models and the STI's have been made firmer than their earlier respective models.

I think the the pricing is good. I'll be selling mine in about 4 months and i'll be looking for £7k (ish). Mine has a little more power than yours and has 41k miles, but yours sounds like a nice example. I think it's just a waiting game.
