subwoofer stealth box for sale
I've recently sold my scoob, and no longer have use for the "stealth" sub box that i made for it. It's constructed from 5 layers of marine fibreglass, with 18mm MDF top, front and sides and is carpeted in grey that perfectly matched my bootspace. It took approx 18hrs to build over about 6 days. It is a sealed box, NOT ported. It will hold a single 10inch sub and as it is a bespoke item CANNOT be altered to take a larger one. The capacity is 23 litres, but I also have some acoustic wadding if your sub needs more volume - check the data sheet that came with your sub for the correct figure.
The box was made for a MY94 classic saloon and I am unsure if it will fit a wagon or any other year - although you are quite welcome to come round and try it in your scoob to see if it will fit. Unfortunately, now that the car has gone I can't take any pictures of it fitted but please believe me when I say it fits perfectly in the corner of the boot (drivers side) in the recess where there is access for changing lightbulbs, and "fires" forward. I was running this from my 5 channel alpine amp and it sounds incredible, when I turned it up loud enough I could move the liquid in my passengers eyes causing them to have blurred vision!!
Obviously as this is a very solidly constructed and heavy item I am reluctant to post it as this would cost a fortune so I would prefer collection. A similar box is available commercially from autoacoustics which retails at around £200, mine is similar to this in shape and design (not exactly the same!!)
Cash on pickup, postal order/bankers draft is fine but I will NOT accept paypal, and if you want to pay by cheque then this is fine but will obviously only release the item once this has cleared.

still got this so first offer of £25 gets it. If you can't collect then I can post it out, got it weighed at post office according to them parcelforce 3-5 working days insured delivery is £12. remember I made this for a my94 saloon so i'm not sure about other versions.

not sure about the newage fit - and you're talking some serious butchery to get it to fit if it doesn't

as its sealed not ported whats the difference in sound? im looking at one mate to pop in a 10" sub but as i said last year when i travelled to see you, i like my dance tunes, and hate elongated drony basslines. i like punchy deep bass.

I've had a couple of questions from different people on this - so I'll say it again, this box was designed for a 10inch sub and cannot be altered to take anything bigger as there isnt enough material left to cut away, and the volume would also be wrong.
if it doesnt go this weekend I'm giving up with it and chucking it in the bin - after reading all the posts for requests for an item like this I REALLY didn't think I'd have this much trouble getting rid of it, especially at this price - you can't even buy a "wedge" shaped sub box for 25 lousy quid
