UK300 Impreza - 450BHP, 180MPH+
The car started life as 2.0 WRX UK300 limited edition, fitted from new with the Prodrive Performance Pack. The car is edition 161 of the 300.
Then the moddifications began (not by myself, but by the original owner, Scott). When I acquired the car it was a 2.5 running just under 400 bhp, and just under 400 lb/ft of torque.
Since owning the car I have had a full rebuild at API (£6k) and now the car is running 452bhp and 477ft/lb of torque (at 1.5 bar). The car has done approximately 2000 miles on the new engine and clutch, and around 300 miles on the new disks.
I have also fitted a single din Alpine stereo and used a Forester CD pocket to fill the hole! The car also has aftermarket speakers fitted in all doors.
The current spec is as follows:
2.5 USA EJ257 short motor
STi 5 Heads
Wiseco Forged Alloy Pistons
Steel Eagle Con Rods
STi Type USA crank
Competition bearing set
740cc Injectors
STi Manifold
Kevlar Cam Belt
APS Front Mount Intercooler
Roger Clark Induction kit
Roger Clark Headers with 3.25" Pat spec exhaust
EcuTek - Mapped by Bob Rawle
Exeedy Clutch (new)
6 Speed STi gearbox
MD321T Turbo charger (new)
AP Racing 330mm Disks with Ferrodo pads(new)
Knock/Lambda Links
HID Fog Lamps
Prodrive Mudflaps
65k miles.
The car is currently fitted with the standard WRX spoiler. However, it used to sport the original WRC spoiler off the 2001 World Rally Car (as seen in one of the below pictures). This spoiler has also been signed by both Tommi Makinen and Petter Solberg so is a real piece of memorabilia. It is not currently on the car, but it can be supplied (not fitted) for £500 on top of asking price. It is also for sale separately.
The last picture shows a power graph - if you click it, it will open in a new window where it is slightly easier to read. In fact, all the pictures can be enlarged by clicking on them.
The car is located in Bromley, Kent.
Asking Price: £13,000

I don't think the calipers were a problem. When I bought the car it had AP disks, I have just replaced them like for like. The bells were modified though. I now have new bells from Godspeed.
