Unhappy Time to move on I think

..worst type of thread I know, sorry

Seen another car that I like but would need maximum price for my current old bone in order to be able to finance it

Anyone got an idea of the going rate of a UK 05 STi PPP,with springs plus a few foo-foo mods included please?

current mileage @21.5 altho only 2k since last service in sept 06
some pics..

dealers seem to be advertising at around 19k,yet folk seem to be giving them away on here!

I think the pics include most of the bits..the dvd player, pedals and rear diffuser etc ,blah, blah

I have no intention of 'giving' it away or even advertising it here, but would still appreciate the views of those more clued up than me.

cheers guys

Jon

One sold for £12,000 a few weeks back but that was way to cheap and the owner probably has more money then sense.

£16,000 for a uk car 18k for a JDM

JDM sti's tend to hold there value much better then the uk cars due to the spec difference.

To keep it short and simple they have stronger engines plus the all important twinscroll turbo and a few more luxuries like the HID headlights, rear washwipe and privacy glass.

Anyway back on topic for a stunning car and good luck with the sale.

Don't get me started on twin scroll turbos...they are for longlevity and not performance, trust me I'm a Turbocharger Technician (no,really!)

Pulsed engines,ie those with unequal length exhausts perform better with a sinlge entry Turbo

I'd have to agree with Juggers Jon - £16-16.5k. I'm fairly confident yours would shift pretty quickly tbh at that price.

Sure a few bits could come off to sell seperately or would it just be a case of what ya see is what ya get?

New car must be special although from memory you've had Imprezas for a while haven't you?

Richie,if you foned up and 'er indoors had answered, then you would probably get a deal....Dear god she hates it soo much,if we ever drive to Pub or anywhere public, she asks to be dropped off outside first so that no one sees her getting out of the car.....true

Hi Jon,

You should post up pictures of the turbo's you work on..... if you could fit them onto one picture!!

Your cars are always the best kept examples, and as such should be worth top dollar, but, it's a question of finding that one person that'll pay it....

Good luck in whatever you choose to do....

Ron.

ps, centre section still in the loft for those 'special' ocassions...!!

This is a wind up right? You can't sell that! I know a change is as good as blah blah blah, but that is too nice, and you haven't had it long enough, so will a nice mod please close this thread.

Hi John my mate just bought an FQ300 evo8 running 379bhp in the dark grey. After seeing your car a few months ago i would rather have yours.
Your old mud flaps look very smart on my classic.
Also have you still got that under tray?
