Default MY99 UK Turbo, APs, ASTs, 360bhp etc **Now with pics**

Time to sell my Impreza. Despite the massive investment it gets little use and I can no longer justify its existence to the steering committee. Spec as follows:

MY 99 UK Impreza Turbo saloon (V reg, January 2000). Royal Silver Metallic. The car has covered 50k miles but had a new short engine fitted under warranty by Subaru dealer at 38k miles (so just 12k miles on the new engine). The car is in very good condition.

It has one or two modifications, listed below. To give you an idea of the money that's been spent, the car is currently insured on an agreed value policy for £16,000. £6500 of that is the car, £9500 parts only.

Engine:
TD05 20g turbo
Denso 550cc injectors
EcuTek remap (Zen Performance)
Walbro uprate fuel pump
SX fuel pressure regulator
Xtreme Scoobies oil cooler
STI 7/8 top mount intercooler
Full decat exhaust
Wrapped Gruppe S unequal length exhause manifold headers/up pipe
Not been RR'd but estimate 360bhp. It has been deliberately mapped below maximum power for usability and longevity.

Chassis:
AST Coilovers fitted with 50/40 springs
Whiteline 22mm fixed front ARB, 22mm adjustable rear ARB
Whiteline front and rear strut braces
Whiteline front and rear drop links
Whiteline Anti-lift kit
Powerstation geometry settings including bump-steer mod
AP Racing 6 pot front brake calipers, Godspeed 335mm discs, Ferodo DS2500 pads, braided lines

Exterior:
Team Dynamics Pro Race 1 17" anthracite wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport CUP tyres
Ultralite A-Tec 17" anthracite wheels fitted with 215/45/17 Federal tyres (practically unused tyres)
Carbon fibre intercooler scoop
Prodrive high level rear spoiler

Interior:
Centre gauge pod fitted with oil pressure, oil temperature and boost pressure (boost pressure not connected)
Apexi AVC-R electronic boost controller
Knocklink
Harness bar and Safety devices 4 point harnesses
OMP suede steering wheel (no airbag)

I have used this car for quite a few trackdays, hence the spec. It previously had a bolt-in rollcage fitted. This is not available, though the feet are still welded in under the carpet.

Price £6500 . There is a bigger write-up and more pics on our blog, Subaru Impreza » thinkCAR. Please note the Cobra Evolution bucket seats are no longer in the car, but are available separately.

More pics than are in the link?

I do have some more at home that I can dig out and post if people want to see more. I will take some pics at the weekend of the interior how it is now (reverted to standard seats).

Clutch/box are standard but it's running a STI 8 cyclinder to allow the TMIC to fit.

Thats better.
Very nice. Surprised though that the standard gearbox is still holding up.

The original box didn't! We re-programmed the AVC-R a bit to lower the boost when I had the replacement box installed.
