96 WRX 4 door with sensible mods
1996 Silver WRX
Imported by previous owner 1999 (have all documents and Jap history, and lots of recent bills etc etc)
105,000 miles
Air con, dark grey with alacantara interior, nardi wheel, good pioneer with MP3 and decent speaker set-up.
Toad cat 1 alarm/immob
Scoobyecu in it's Z4 ecu
K+N panel
H+S open neck downpipe...fully heat wrapped
STI centre section and back box
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Rear whiteline anti-roll bar and solid drop links.
Otherwise standard apart from a boost gauge.
MOT last week....front wheel bearing replaced and 4 new tyres, so full ticket. taxed till end june
Very straight and tidy classic. The simple fuelling and breathing mods are subtle but seeem to work well...no det, and you can do the maths on top of it's import bhp etc, but it does go well. Engine, box and diff oils changed regularly.
1st to second change can be a little bit snicky when box is cold, otherwise it
frees off.
Clutch return spring in mast. cyl. is weak (as per usual). I'm lazy and went for the pedal bungee "repair" as recommended on here! It's done me proud for 18 months so it works.....
Has the obligatory minidrip from the offside rocker cover. I had SC Autos do a rocker cover gasket...yup you guessed it, no real change. So I have wrapped the heat shield in very thick aluminium foil!
Very much a second car, and I was planning on using it for some airfield trackdays this year. I have sprinted it about 3 times, and done Barkston Heath in it. However...change of plan, did a day in my mates M3 last weekend, been trying to talk myself out of it all week...no good... I'm gonna have to have one...sorry. So its gotta go.
Price £2600....now 2550
I am in Kings Lynn, Norfolk tel 07816 854828
I have some pictures...how do I post them up here?

As an Easter bonus I am reducing the price to 2600 no offers.... cant believe how cheap our cars have become (I have only had one phone call)... I have been honest with it's description and it really is an excellent wrx. Have just driven to see two dog rough M3's today in the Subaru and am beginning to question my wisdom! I reckon both my car and an E36 M3 are on par with approaching 280-290 bhp but the delivery is so much different. You forget how much genuinely useful torque an impreza has, the M3 beneath 4000 revs is frankly a tractor but the M3 past 5500 revs is all about a glorious screaming straight six.
Cars......they are bloody marvellous.
